C64 Font Editor --------------- By Howard Feldman This is a font editor program for the Commodore 64 which I made back in the early 90's while making a game. It allows you to essentially redefine the character set, using a joystick or keyboard, one character at a time, and then save it to disk for use in other programs. To run: load "*",8 run The program comes complete with online instructions (which is good, because otherwise I'd have no idea how to use it... this way I don't have to explain it here either). A few sample fonts are included on the disk for you to play with. I don't remember what they are anymore, but go wild. LOAD CHARS. ROUT will load a font created with teh font editor and can be used in other programs where desired. This software has been released once before back in '95 but with a bunch of other stuff. Now it's on its own as a single package. It is freeware. Send questions and compliments to: Howard Feldman feldman@mshri.on.ca http://bioinfo.mshri.on.ca/people/feldman/ March 8, 2001
