MINESWEEPER 64 This is a C64 version of the well known mine* game on different platforms (MSDos, Unix, Mac...) It can be used with an amiga mouse, a 1351 mouse or a joystick (not recommended). Send feedback to: mx3erik@mtek.chalmers.se INSTRUCTIONS TO MINESWEEPER 64! ------------------------------- Game control: Move the pointer (arrow) with a mouse or joystick. Different levels are chosen by clicking with left mouse button on the square in front of them ("beginner","expert"...) Goal: To find out where all the mines are hidden on the board as quick as possible. How to play: At start the board are "blank", ie you do not know anything. The first thing to do is to just click with the left mouse button (MB) on any square. Now one of the following happens: a empty square is shown, a number is shown (1 - 8) or you hit a mine (= GAME OVER) The empty square indicates just that! The number means that there are so many mines in the surrounding squares. in game example: finished example: (what you see) (what it might be) ######### "#"="blank" .....2*2. ###1.2### "."=empty .111.2*2. ##+1.1### "+"=marked .1*1.111. ##11...## "*"=mine .111..... If you know there are a mine on a square, use the rigth mouse button to mark it. A special sign shows a possible mine. If you mis-marked a square, just use right MB again. How to win: Just mark where all the mines are. Be sure not to mark to many. That is it. The best times are kept in a high score list. The counters in the upper left corner shows no. of mines left to mark (might be negtive) and passed time in minutes and seconds.
