The CUTILS (pronounce like 'cute') are a set of two utilities, designed to upload or download user's programs between a Commodore VIC 20 and a Linux PC, using a simple homemade parallel cable. The typical transfer rate is about 20 KB/sec. The utilities work indifferently with an EXPANDED OR UNEXPANDED VIC and can easily be modified to use with a C64 or a PET. An Amiga 500 version of the download utility for an unxepanded VIC is also included. Two versions of the CUTILS are provided: o cutils-1.0.tgz A gzip compressed tar archive, with all the source files, some sample programs, the cable schematics and some digital pictures of the cable solders. o cutils-1.0_nopics.tgz Same as above, without the pictures (BUT the cable schematics are still there!)
