Turbo-Tape Collection
                        =====================

The package ttape010.zip contains implementations of Turbo-Tape for 
the C64, the C16/Plus4 and the IBM PC with Datassette and X1541 
adaptor.

In contrast to most tape tools for the PC that already exist, this
implementation is dedicated to cross platform data exchange rather 
than emulator support, so it works with raw files rather than tape 
images a la VOC, WAV, TAP or TZX.
In other words, the Datassette is used similar to a normal mass 
storing device. 

One possible application of such tape based data transfer could for 
example be cross development of C64 software on the PC.
